French side Bayonne announced Monday the signing of England back or wing Mathew Tait on a two-year contract as well as All Black fly-half Tom Taylor, who agreed a three-year deal.
Tait will join the Basque club, currently 10th in the French Top 14, in the summer while the New Zealander will arrive on November 1.
Tait, 29, spent the last four seasons with the Leicester Tigers after stints with the Newcastle Falcons and the Sale Sharks.
He has represented England 38 times and was a starter in the 2007 World Cup final against South Africa.
Taylor, 25, won three caps with New Zealand in 2013 and was under-20 world champion with the Baby Blacks before turning pro with Super Rugby outfit Crusaders.
