Norway's 2007 champion Anders Jacobsen followed up on his victory in the opening Four Hills event of the season at Oberstdorf with a win in the second leg at Garmisch-Partenkirchen on Tuesday. Jacobsen produced jumps of 131 and 143m for a total of 277.7 points to edge out Austria's defending champion Gregor Schlierenzauer, who recorded leaps of 134 and 136.5m for 276.8 points. Norway's Anders Bardal was third after his efforts of 136.5 and 135.5m gave him 267.2 points. The competition moves on to Austria for the final two legs, firstly at Innsbruck on January 4 and then Bischofshofen two days later.
