Russia won the 4x6-kilometer women's relay at the biathlon World Cup in Germany’s Oberhof on Wednesday. A dramatic collapse of German leader Magdalena Neuner allowed Russia’s anchor Olga Vilukhina to lead the team of Anna Bogaliy-Titovets, Svetlana Sleptsova and Olga Zaitseva to victory in 1 hour, 19 minutes and 32 seconds. Neuner had a 20-second going into the final shoot, but was forced to run four penalty laps after mishitting seven of her eight final targets. The Russians managed to hit all eight targets, using 13 extra bullets. Norway finished second 5.9 seconds behind Russia, followed by France in third and Germany in a disappointing fourth place. The men's 4x7.5-kilometer relay will be held in Oberhof on Thursday.
