Real Madrid responded to the surprise defeat in Game 1 with a spectacular performance that allowed them to draw the tie. Velickovic (16 points), Llull (16 points, 25 PIR) and Suarez (10 points) were their main men in offence. Bjelica netted a three-pointer early in the final period (56-50), but the Madridistas soon put an end to this small gasp and Velickovic led the team with seven points of his own to seal a very important win in the series (73-64, 40').
