Miikka Kiprusoff posted his fourth shutout of the season and Mike Cammalleri scored the game's only goal in Calgary's 1-0 decision over Los Angeles. Kiprusoff turned aside all 28 shots he saw, including 12 in the second period, notching the 44th whitewash of his career as the Flames pulled even with the Kings for the eighth and final playoff slot in the Western Conference (65 points). Calgary scored 4 minutes into the final period when Cammalleri one-timed a shot past Jonathan Quick off a feed from the corner by Tom Kostopoulos. Los Angeles, meanwhile, continued its offensive struggles, suffering its eighth shutout of the season and second in two games. Quick made 17 saves as Los Angeles lost for the eighth time in 12 games.
