Rob Bironas booted an overtime field goal and the Tennessee Titans stopped Detroit on its final push Sunday to pull out a 44-41 victory. Detroit erased a 14-point deficit in the final minute of regulation play to force overtime. Tennessee (1-2) used several Lions penalties on the first drive of overtime to set up a 26-yard field goal from Bironas with 10:36 left. Shaun Hill then led Detroit (1-2) into Tennessee territory. Facing a fourth-and-inches at the Tennessee 7, the Lions decided to try for a first down rather than a tying field goal. Hill tried a quarterback sneak but he didn't get far enough, handing Tennessee the win. Jake Locker hurled for 378 yards on 29-of-42 passing with two touchdowns. Starting Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford finished 33-for-42 with 278 yards and a score before leaving with a pulled muscle. Hill completed 10-for-13 passes with two scores and 172 yards.
