Wellington - Arabstoday
The daughter of former Warriors captain Steve Price has been named one of 12 players in the New Zealand secondary schools netball squad to play in the transtasman schools tournament from May 28-June 1. Jamie Lee Price's family has lived in Auckland since her father joined the Warriors from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs for the 2005 NRL season. "We have a young team, with a number of new faces, which is full of variety and will bring the dynamic skills needed to be competitive in the tournament," she said. "These girls are determined and hard-working, I think they will represent their country with pride." The team also includes Elisapeta Toeava who is All Black Isaia Toeava's sister. Squad: Stephanie Collins (Botany Downs Secondary School), Alice Eddington (Craighead Diocesan School), Temalisi Fakahokatau (Westlake Girls' High School), Holly Fowler (Mt Albert Grammar School), Malia Paseka (Auckland Girls' Grammar School), Jamie Lee Price (Mt Albert Grammar School), Rebekah Roache (Mt Albert Grammar School), Fa'amu Ross (Avondale College), Samantha Sinclair (John Paul College), Shaani Temata-Frost (Tu Toa), Elisapeta Toeava (McAuley High School), Te Aomihia Watene (Hamilton Girls' High School)
