Wesley Matthews and Damian Lillard combined to dominate the second half Friday and send Portland to a 103-95 victory over Minnesota. The Timberwolves lost their fourth in a row despite Kevin Love's second double-double in as many games since recovering from a broken hand. Love missed the first nine outings of the season. Matthews scored 30 points while making 12-of-17 shots and Lillard posted a career-best 28 points. J.J. Hickson pitched in 14 points and 13 rebounds in helping the Trail Blazers win for the fourth time in five games. Minnesota had a five-point halftime lead, but the Trail Blazers went into the fourth quarter with a three-point cushion that grew to 10 less than 3 minutes into the period. The Timberwolves came no closer than six the rest of the way. Love scored 24 points and had 13 rebounds.
