Montpellier relaunched their bid for a spot in the Top 14 playoffs with a 38-6 hammering of Stade Francais here on Friday. A third straight win and sixth in their last seven games sees Fabien Galthie's side move up to fourth, 16 points behind leaders Toulouse, for the first time this season. Stade Francais once again showed their weakness away as they have claimed just one win on their travels this season, dropping to sixth position. Despite fighting back in the first half the Parisians could not break down their rivals, trailing Montpellier by ten points (13-3) at the half-time whistle. Argentine winger Martin Bustos Moyano accounted for 26 of Montpellier's points. The 27-year-old touched down after 39 and 80 minutes, and also kicked two conversions and four penalties. South African centre Paul Bosch (62) and Fiji winger Timoci Nagusa (77) also scored tries for Montpellier, to give the side bonus points, with Stade Francais's points coming from two Julien Dupuy penalties (15, 59)
