A.J. Burnett fired eight innings of one-run ball Sunday and the Pittsburgh Pirates dominated Houston 8-1 to snap a five-game losing streak. Burnett (16-8) yielded four hits and struck out 11 en route to his first victory in six starts. Josh Harrison delivered four hits, Jose Tabata knocked in two runs and Gaby Sanchez went 2-for-3 with two runs scored as the Pirates improved to 5-16 in September. Astros starter Jordan Lyles (4-12) yielded three runs on six hits over four-plus innings. Scott Moore homered for Houston.
