Joe Saunders struck out nine and limited the Rockies to three hits over seven innings Tuesday, leading the Arizona Diamondbacks past Colorado 6-2. Saunders (5-6) gave up two home runs to Colorado's Michael Cuddyer. Chris Young hit a two-run homer for the Diamondbacks and Miguel Montero drove in two runs with a single in Arizona's fifth consecutive victory. Steven Drew drove in Arizona's first run with a single in the bottom of the fourth inning. Edwar Cabrera (0-2) took the loss, allowing two runs on four hits and four walks over 3 1/3 innings. Josh Roenicke and Rex Brothers each gave up two runs in relief for the Rockies.
