Mika Miyazato used a bogey-free round of 4-under-par 68 to grab a two-stroke lead Saturday after 36 holes of the Safeway Classic in Oregon. Her performance left the first round co-leader at 11-under 133, two better than last week's winner, So Yeon Ryu. Seeking her first LPGA title, Miyazato took over the lead after a birdie on the par-4 sixth, then moved to minus-11 two holes later when she posted the final birdie of her round. Sharing third place were Cristie Kerr and Inbee Park, both of whom carded 2-under 70s to finish at 8-under 136 at Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club. First-round co-leader Sydnee Michaels fell to an even-par 72, ending the day in a fifth-place tie at minus-7 with Paula Creamer (69) and women's world No. 1 Yani Tseng (67).
