Rocco Mediate carded a 1-under 71 Sunday, good enough to hang on for a two-stroke win at the Allianz Championship in his first Champions Tour appearance. Mediate's total of 17-under-par 199 tied Bernhard Langer and John Cook's 2010 tournament mark, thanks mainly to his course-record 61 in Saturday's round on The Old Course at Broken Sound Club. Langer registered a 4-under 68 end with Tom Pernice Jr. (2-under 70) in a tie for second place at minus-15. Sharing fourth place at 11-under 205 were Corey Pavin and Mark O'Meara, both of whom closed with 3-under 69s. From UPI
