Rafal Majka won the fifth stage of his home Tour of Poland on Thursday in a sprint finish as Czech Petr Vakoc held on to the overall leader's yellow jersey.
Tinkoff-Saxo rider Majka, who won two stages on last month's Tour de France and claimed the polka dot jersey for the King of the Mountains, pipped Spanish duo Benat Intxausti and Ion Izaguirre at the end of the 190km ride through the mountains from the Polish ski resort of Zakopane to Strbske Pleso, across the border in Slovakia.
Friday's sixth stage will be a 174km run to Bukovina Tatrzanska. The seven-stage race concludes on Saturday with an individual time trial in Krakow.
