US golfers Davis Love III and Jim Furyk were seeking some measure of Ryder Cup atonement Sunday as they battled for the McGladrey Classic title in Georgia. Love was at the helm of the U.S. squad when it suffered a historic collapse at Medinah in Illinois, while Furyk was one of his captain's choices. Each were in the hunt for a PGA Tour victory to help erase the sting of the memories at Seaside course after firing twin 4-under-par 66's in Saturday's third round. Love earned a share of the lead thanks to a 12-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole. That put him at 13-under 197 -- even with Furyk, who carded eight straight pars to close Round 3. Sharing third place at minus-11 were D.J. Trahan (66) and second-round leader Arjun Atwal (69).
