No. 24 seed Sabine Lisicki upset 4th seed and last year's finalist Agnieszka Radwanska to reach the final of women's final at Wimbledon here on Thursday. The 24-year-old German, also a semifinalist in 2011, will fight for the title against No.15 seed and 2007 runner-up Marion Bartoli. Lisicki took the opening set 6-4 but slumped to a 2-6 defeat in the second. She appeared sure to go out after dropping 0-3 in the third set, but battled back and finally took it 9-7 in a center court thriller. Bartoli won 6-1, 6-2, watched by compatriot and coach, 2006 champion Amelie Mauresmo, against 20th-ranked Belgian Kirsten Flipkens, the 2003 Wimbledon girls' singles champion, in just over an hour. "Unbelievable, " Lisicki said after the match. "It is a battle. I believe I can fight back no matter what the score is." The women's final will be held on Saturday. From: XINHUA
