Latvian qualifier Ernests Gulbis advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP Delray Beach International Championships on Friday with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Spaniard Daniel Munoz. It took Gulbis only 75 minutes to dispatch qualifier Munoz and reach the last four of the $455,775 hardcourt event, the final US tuneup for next week's ATP Masters Series event at Indian Wells, California. Gulbis will now play the winner of the match between Germany's second-seeded Tommy Haas and Croatian Ivan Dodig for a berth in Sunday's final. US top seed John Isner meets South African sixth seed Kevin Anderson and Lithuanian lucky loser Ricardas Berankis faces France's Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the other quarter-finals. From AFP
