Bernhard Langer claimed his second Champions Tour victory of the season Sunday, firing a 9-under 63 to log a two-shot win at the SAS Championship. Langer avoided a playoff when Jay Don Blake failed to register a needed birdie on the 18th hole. He instead fell to a bogey, finishing two behind Langer's 13-under 203. Langer netted his 16th of his career seniors tour win, while Blake turned in a round of 4-under 68 for sole possession of second place at Prestonwood Country Club. Mark Wiebe (68) claimed third place at 10-under 206. Second round co-leader Fred Funk registered a 1-under 71 to share fourth place with Tommy Armour III (66) at minus-9.
