Joy of Turkish Olympics begins in Ankara

11th International Turkish Olympics began in Ankara with a ceremony held at the 19 Mayis Stadium on Saturday. Turkish Deputy Prime Ministers Bulent Arinc and Ali Babacan, Interior Minister Muammer Guler, National Education Minister Nabi Avci, Mayor of Ankara Melih Gokcek and several deputies attended the ceremony at the 19 Mayis Stadium. Students from all corners of the world sang songs and danced at the ceremony. Activities as part of the Turkish Olympics will continue until June 16 in more than 50 Turkish provinces.
