Cory Schneider blanked Los Angeles over the final two periods Wednesday and the Vancouver Canucks fought off elimination by rallying past the Kings 3-1. Daniel Sedin returned to the ice after suffering a concussion last month and had an assist in helping the Canucks cut their deficit in the opening-round playoff series to 3-1. Vancouver, which had the best regular-season record in the NHL, will host Game 5 Sunday. Anze Kopitar gave Los Angeles the lead with 7 minutes to go in the first period but Schneider was perfect the rest of the way while making 43 saves. Schneider made his second straight start in place of a struggling Roberto Luongo and is expected to start Sunday as well. Alexander Edler tied it 4:07 into the second and Kevin Bieksa's slap shot 4 minutes later put the Canucks in front. Henrik Sedin added some third-period insurance with a power-play goal. Jonathan Quick stopped 27 shots in the loss.
