High school pitcher strikes out record 26 batters

A high school pitcher struck out 26 batters in a game last weekend to set the record for a South Korean baseball contest.Lee Su-min, a senior left-hander with Daegu Sangwon High School, recorded 26 strikeouts in 10 innings in his team's 2-1 win over Daegu High School on Sunday in their North Gyeongsang regional showdown in the national weekend high school league. Lee allowed three hits and walked three in his complete game victory. The 17-year-old threw 162 pitches against 38 batters. source : Yonhap
