French recruit Be Fabulous will bid to give Godolphin a sixth success in today's Group Two Yorkshire Cup, a challenging 2,800-metre haul which launches the QIPCO British Champions Series Long Distance programme. Trained by Mahmoud Al Zarouni, the German-bred five-year-old's seven rivals include the impressive Newbury Group 3 scorer Harris Tweed and Ed Dunlop's spirited, globe-trotting star Red Cadeaux. Frankie Dettori, who knows what it takes to win the Cup having partnered four winners since Arzanni in 1991, will be aboard the Godolphin contender. Be Fabulous won the Prix Royal-Oak (G1) at Longchamp when trained by Andre Fabre and makes her British debut after joining Al Zarouni's Moulton Paddocks stables in Newmarket."She's a good filly, she won a Group One last year in France and I think the distance will suit her," said the Emirati handler who will be hoping to build on Godolphin's good record in the Yorkshire Cup. "She is in really good form at home and Frankie [Dettori] rides her and we hope she can run a really good race. She will improve for the run, but we want to find out if she is good enough to run in the Gold Cup at Royal Ascot." Red Cadeaux will be hoping to atone for narrow defeats in the 2011 Irish St Leger (3rd), Melbourne Cup (2nd), the Hong Kong Vase (3rd) by giving Dunlop his first success in the Yorkshire showpiece. "Everything's gone well since the Sagaro and he seems in good form," said the handler, whose father John Dunlop is a two-time winner of the Cup.
