The mega-rich French giants have previously failed with bids for Manchester City's Carlos Tevez and AC Milan's Alexandre Pato, but believe they could have better luck with Suarez. In a front page story, the paper reports that Suarez would be open to a move to the French capital if PSG qualify for the Champions League and Liverpool fail to do so. PSG are currently one point clear of Montpellier at the top of Ligue 1 but there is an 11-point gap between them and Lille, who currently occupy France's final Champions League spot in third. However Lille are joined on 39 points by Lyon and Rennes, with Marseille one point further back. Liverpool currently find themselves seventh in the Premier League, four points behind an Arsenal side who currently hold the final Champions League spot in fourth. According to the paper, PSG have already contacted Suarez's people about the possibility of a move. However, Maxime Dupuis of Eurosport's French website said he was sceptical that Suarez would be coming to Paris. "If you want my opinion, it is probably rubbish, but I may wrong," he said. "Every time a striker has a problem with his club, the French press seem ready to send him to PSG. These reports can come from nowhere but it is true that PSG are looking for a striker." If Suarez did sign for PSG, he would be reunited with Uruguay captain Diego Lugano who backed Suarez's decision to snub the pre-match handshake with Patrice Evra last weekend. "Luis showed balls to do what he did on Saturday," wrote Lugano on his Twitter page. "These are issues between the players, but many moralist hypocrites used the opportunity to hand out lessons, when Luis was the only innocent one in all this." Suarez has since apologised for not shaking Evra's hand Earlier this year Suarez was banned for eight matches after been found guilty of racially abusing the Manchester United defender.
