Brad Davis and Will Bruin scored in the first half Sunday and the Houston Dynamo went on to a 4-0 rout of D.C. United. Davis set the tone in the 19th minute when he converted a penalty kick after United goalkeeper Bill Hamid goalkeeper took him down with a tackle just outside the 6-yard box. The Dynamo doubled their advantage in the 37th when Will Bruin tapped in a shot from the center of the box off a set-up by Macoumba Kandji. Oscar Boniek Garcia and Brian Ching added second-half tallies for the Dynamo (7-5-7), who took the rubber match of the three-game season's series between the Eastern Conference foes and extended their home unbeaten streak to 17 games. United (10-6-3) fell to 3-5-1 on the road.
