Seeded players Sara Errani and Greta Arn each were ousted Saturday in the semifinals of the Monterrey Open, setting up a title match between two underdogs. The second-seeded Italian Errani was bounced 6-4, 6-7 (7-3), 6-4 by 18-year-old Timea Babos of Hungary in a marathon contest at Sierra Madre Tennis Club. Babos, who fired 11 aces, converted on 2-of-5 break chances in the final set while advancing to her first WTA Tour final. There she'll face Alexandra Cadantu of Romania, who bested sixth-seeded Arn 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 while appearing in her first semifinal. Cadantu fended off 3-of-6 break opportunities by Arn in the third set to advance to Sunday's final.
