The Detroit Red Wings set the record for most consecutive home wins by beating the Dallas Stars 3-1 with the help of the eventual game-winning goal from defenceman Brad Stuart. They are 24-2-1 at the Joe Louis Arena this season and lead the Western Conference with 80 points. "It is a competitive league and it is hard to win that many in a row," Babcock said. On the road the Red Wings are a respectable 15-15-1.
