Rookies Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers, both injured, were cleared to return to the lineup of the New Orleans Hornets, the NBA team said Friday. Hornets' officials said both players were expected to start Friday's game against Charlotte. Davis, the overall No. 1 pick in the 2012 NBA draft, has missed two games after suffering a concussion Nov. 2. He scored 21 points and had seven rebounds in the Hornets' first game. He suffered a mild concussion when he was inadvertently hit by an elbow from Rivers in the first half of the second game of the season. Rivers, taken by New Orleans with the 10th overall selection, missed Wednesday's game because of a sprained finger. He is averaging 6 points and 3.3 assists in three games.
