Kenjon Barner and Marcus Marioga teamed for 278 ground yards and four scores Thursday in leading No. 2 Oregon to a 43-21 win over Arizona State. The Beavers remained one of 12 unbeaten teams in major college football, winning for the 10 straight time dating to last November. Oregon is 7-0 this season and leads the Pac-12 Conference North Division with a 4-0 record. Oregon State has a 3-0 mark. The 24th-ranked Sun Devils fell to 5-2 and are tied with USC for the lead in the Pac-12 South at 3-1. Arizona State recovered a fumble on the game's second play and scored on its first snap, the touchdown coming on a 28-yard pass from Taylor Kelly to Kevin Ozier. Oregon then scored 43 unanswered points, all in the first half. Barner rushed for 143 yards on 16 carries with three touchdowns. Marioga picked up 135 more yards while carrying 10 times. Barner tied the game 23 seconds after Arizona State had taken the lead, running 71 yards for the score. Barner also had two touchdowns of one yard each while Oregon was pulling away. Marioga did more damage running from his quarterback position than he did throwing the ball, although he did have a 6-yard touchdown pass to Bralon Addison midway through the first period that put the Ducks in front for good. Marioga was 9-of-12 passing for 46 yards. His backup, Bryan Bennett, threw an interception late in the game that was run back by Anthony Jones for an Arizona State touchdown. Oregon totaled 398 rushing yards on 60 carries.
