Doug McDermott triggered a big first half for No. 11 Creighton Saturday, netting 18 of his 23 points early in the Bluejays' 80-51 blitz of St. Joseph's. McDermott went 5-of-7 from 3-point range overall as Creighton (7-1) bounced back from Wednesday's home loss to Boise State. That setback had snapped a streak of 41 straight Bluejays wins at home against non-conference opponents. The Hawks (4-2) got 10 points from Langston Galloway.
