Josh Jones rallied No. 15 Creighton from a halftime deficit with 18 second-period points Wednesday in the Bluejays' 77-60 win over Alabama-Birmingham. Jones went scoreless during the first 20 minutes, but eventually hit 6-of-9 in a backup role. The Blazers led by as many as eight points in the first half and had a four-point advantage at the break. Creighton highlighted the second period with a 17-0 run that pushed the Bluejays to a 2-0 record. Alabama-Birmingham is 1-1. Gregory Echenique had 13 points and 16 rebounds for Creighton. Grant Gibbs added 13 points and Ethan Wragge had 12. The Blazers were led by Isiah Jones with 16 points.
