Shabazz Napier drained a trio of 3-pointers en route to 19 points Sunday and 23rd-ranked Connecticut sped past Stony Brook 73-62. Omar Calhoun also canned three from long range, finishing with 14 points for the Huskies (5-1), who also got 15 and eight rebounds from Niels Giffey. Connecticut bounced back after a loss to New Mexico in the championship game of the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands Monday. Stony Brook (4-2) got a combined 29 points from Dave Coley and Tommy Brenton.
