Sergio Garcia hit four balls into the water en route to a disastrous 12 at the par-four third hole of Doral's Blue Monster course Sunday, finishing the Cadillac Championship with a four-over 76. The Spaniard, who had launched his final round of the World Golf Championships event with an eagle at the first, saw any hopes of a last-round surge evaporate when his tee shot splashed into the pond on the right side of the 438-yard third. After taking a penalty drop in the rough in front of the water Garcia then failed three times to get over the water. His ninth shot went over the green and he chipped on and two-putted from 35 feet for a 12. Although Garcia did manage five birdies along the way, he closed his round in the rain with a double bogey at 18, where he was again in the water. "Not today, guys," Garcia said as he declined an interview and departed. "I don't have the energy."
