Tim Duncan scored 26 points Tuesday to lead San Antonio to a 108-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers in their Western Conference semifinals opener. The Spurs never trailed in the second half and tied a franchise record with 12 3-point shots in the contest. San Antonio led 57-49 after a first half that featured a dozen lead changes. The Spurs opened the third quarter strong and built a 19-point lead en route to their 15th consecutive win. Manu Ginobili contributed 22 points to the San Antonio offense and Kawhi Leonard scored 16. Eric Bledsoe led Los Angeles with 23 points and Caron Butler and Blake Griffin tallied 15 apiece. Chris Paul struggled with six points on 3-of-13 shooting. The Spurs shot 48.8 percent from the field to the Clippers' 44.6 percent, and won the rebounding battle 47-34.
