Andrew Nicholson keyed a dominating third quarter Wednesday, bringing Orlando a 90-74 decision over Detroit. The Magic won for only the second time in nine games, easily erasing a three-point halftime deficit by holding Detroit to eight points in the third period. Orlando opened the second half on a 21-0 run and held the Pistons to 2-of-20 shooting during the third quarter. Nicholson hit 7-of-9 shots from the field and scored a career-high 15 points. Arron Afflalo added 12 points while Glen Davis scored 11 and had 14 rebounds. The Pistons lost for the 10th time in their 12 games this year. Greg Monroe scored 19 points for Detroit, but only four of them came in the second half. The Pistons went 32.9 percent from the field for the game. The only other Orlando victory in its last nine outings also came against Detroit last Friday.
