Chris Paul paced Los Angeles to a 14-point halftime lead Friday and the Clippers went on to win their 12th in a row, 97-85 over Sacramento. The Clippers reached a dozen straight victories one night after Oklahoma City had its 12-game winning streak halted by Minnesota. Paul scored 24 points and Blake Griffin added 21. They combined to make 16-of-29 from the field while their teammates were hitting just 36 percent. Matt Barnes was the only other member of the Clippers in double figures, scoring 13 off the bench. Los Angeles turned the ball over 21 times but outrebounded the Kings 53-32. Sacramento fell to 1-11 on the road and is one of two teams in the Western Conference that have yet to reach 10 wins. The Kings were led by Jimmer Fredette with 16 points.
