Jeremy Pargo scored a career-best 28 points Wednesday, five of them coming during a game-closing run that sent Cleveland to a 92-83 win over Philadelphia. The Cavaliers ended a six-game losing streak, opening a 13-point lead after one period and holding on for the rest of the contest. Philadelphia climbed within 80-77 with 3:35 to go on a jumper by Jrue Holiday, but a Pargo layup started a 12-6 burst that concluded the game. He added a 3-pointer that gave the Cavaliers a 90-77 lead inside the 2-minute mark. Dion Waiters had 16 points for Cleveland and Alonzo Gee added 14. Philadelphia had defeated Cleveland on Sunday 86-70. The Cavaliers' victory was only their third of the season. Holiday and Jason Richardson had 16 points each for Philadelphia, which had won three in a row.
