Desmond Jennings kicked off a seven-run sixth inning with a two-run triple Wednesday that sent Tampa Bay cruising past Boston 13-3. The Rays pounded out 15 hits and took advantage of five walks during the sixth to produce their big inning. Both Carlos Pena and Jose Molina drew bases-loaded walks in the sixth and Pena hit a two-run homer during a three-run fourth. The offensive outburst allowed the Rays to end a four-game losing streak. Chris Archer (1-3) gave up three runs on five hits in five innings to collect the first win of his big league career. He struck out six. The loss went to Daisuke Matsuzaka (1-6), who was roughed up for five runs on nine hits in three-plus innings.
