Chase Headley's seventh-inning grand slam Sunday secured the San Diego Padres' 8-2 victory over Arizona. Chris Denorfia and Carlos Quentin each cracked solo homers and scored two runs as the Padres built a 4-1 lead in the seventh -- then Headley's bases-loaded shot doubled the advantage. Andrew Werner (2-1) earned the victory in his fourth career start, pitching 6 1/3 solid innings while allowing one run on four hits. He struck out six. Arizona's Patrick Corbin (5-7) took the loss, giving up three runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings. Jason Kubel and Gerardo Parra drove in runs for the D-backs, who dropped two of their three games with the Padres.
