Bartolo Colon combined with two relievers on a three-hitter Friday, keeping Seattle off the board in a 4-0 Oakland victory. Colon (2-1) went seven innings, giving up all three hits and striking out five. Ryan Cook went unscathed despite allowing two walks in the eighth and Grant Balfour worked a perfect ninth to finish the shutout. Cliff Pennington doubled in a run in the third and scored later in the inning on a base hit by Coco Crisp. Kurt Suzuki delivered a sacrifice fly in the eighth and Jemile Weeks added a solo homer in the ninth. Felix Hernandez (1-1) took the loss, surrendering two runs on seven hits in seven innings.
