Michael Fiers scattered five hits in his first major league start Tuesday to lead the Milwaukee Brewers to a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fiers (1-0) gave up a run but struck out three and did not walk a batter in seven innings in the Brewers' second consecutive win. John Axford notched his ninth save and Ryan Braun drove in both Milwaukee runs with a home run in the first inning. Nathan Eovaldi (0-1) -- who was also making his first start of the season -- allowed two runs on four hits and a walk in seven innings. Andre Ethier went 2-for-3 with an RBI double for the Dodgers, who have lost four of their last six games. Matt Kemp returning from the 15-day disabled list, went 1-for-4 with a double for LA.
