Hanley Ramirez delivered a game-winning single in the ninth inning of the Los Angeles Dodgers' series-sweeping 7-6 win over the Chicago Cubs Sunday. The Cubs had tied the score 6-6 in the top of the ninth on a solo homer by Anthony Rizzo off Kenley Jansen (5-3). But the Dodgers came right back in the bottom of the frame when Kemp drew a one-out walk from Shawn Camp (2-5), went to second on an Andre Ethier single and scored when Ramirez lined the first pitch he saw into left field. Ethier and Luis Cruz each knocked in two runs for the second-place Dodgers, who remain one-half game behind National League West-leading San Francisco. Rizzo finished 2-for-4 with three RBI and Wellington Castillon homered for Chicago.
