Adam Dunn homered and doubled for two RBI and Alexei Ramirez chipped in with three hits, including a two-run single, for American League Central-leading Chicago, which logged its most-ever runs in a single game against the Rangers. Chris Sale (10-2) turned in his ninth straight start without a loss, handling Texas on one run over 7 1/3 innings. The left-hander issued five hits and a walk while fanning four. Rangers starter Roy Oswalt (2-1) was rocked for 11 runs (nine earned) on 13 hits over just 4 2/3 innings. Elvis Andrus drove in both runs for the AL West-leading Rangers, who dropped the opener of a three-game series.
