Dan Uggla's bases-clearing double ignited a late-game outburst that carried the Atlanta Braves to a 12-6 victory over Philadelphia. It was tied 6-6 with two out and the bases empty in the seventh inning when the Braves began their decisive uprising. Jason Heyward doubled off Anthony Bastardo (2-4), Chipper Jones was intentionally walked and Freddie Freeman drew an unintentional base-on-balls to load the bases. Josh Lindblom then entered the game and Uggla greeted him by smashing a pitch down the left-field line and into the corner, scoring all three runners. Atlanta went on to score three more times in taking the rubber match of a three-game series. Chad Durbin (4-1) was credited with the victory for Atlanta, which remained tied with Pittsburgh for the National League wild card lead. Ryan Howard cracked a three-run homer and Jimmy Rollins added a solo shot for the Phillies.
