Jason Kubel hit a home run off Matt Guerrier in the 11th inning Friday, giving the Arizona Diamondbacks a 4-3 win over the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Guerrier had been out with tendinosis and pitched in his first major league game since April 18, taking the mound after Shawn Tolleson, Ronald Belisario and Brandon League combined for five scoreless innings after starter Aaron Harang allowed three runs in five innings. Arizona has won eight straight against the Dodgers and are 6-1 at Dodger Stadium this season. They moved to within 8 1/2 games of first place in the National League West with the loss by the Giants. Chris Johnson hit a triple in the second inning and Miguel Montero scored from first to give the D-backs a 1-0 lead. Trevor Cahill's single in the fifth scored Johnson, then Aaron Hill doubled to score Cahill for a 3-0 lead.
