Anwar steers ADIS to victory over Sherwood

Abu Dhabi Indian (ADIS) got the better of Sherwood by 18 runs in the U-15 category of the ongoing Abu Dhabi inter-school tournament.Mohammed Ashfaq stroked 72 off 70 deliveries in their victory over Sherwood. He hit seven fours and shared a useful 53-run partnership with Kushal Mohnot (24) for the fifth wicket for ADIS to post 173 for nine.Sahal Baji was the pick of the Sherwood bowlers, taking four for 31 from his five overs. Bikramjeet Singh and Shaun Shibu gave Sherwood a bright start, adding 62 for the first wicket in 10 overs, but they ended on 155 for nine.  Mohammed Israfil and Mafaz Bin Ahsan did most of the damage by taking five wickets between them.
