Turkish athletes Lutfiye Kaya in women's category and Murat Kaya in men's category finished first Turkey's Lutfiye Kaya in women's category and Murat Kaya in men's category came first in the 8th International Runtalya Marathon run in Turkey's southern resort city of Antalya. Of the 3,950 athletes who were registered in the marathon 3,870 took part in the race. 3,548 athletes managed to finish the race. Lutfiye Kaya of Turkey came first in a time of 3.01.11 while Marina Zhalybina of Russia came second in 3.03.46 and Turkish athlete Ezgi Akdesir finished third in 3.05.45 in women's category in the 42-km marathon. In men's category, Turkish athlete Murat Kaya came first in 2.36.33, German athlete Wolfgang Lenz came second in 2.38.55 and Bulgarian athlete Yordan Petron finished third in 2.39.14. In the 21-kilometer half marathon, in women's category, Russian athlete Olesya Nurgalieva finished first in 1.16.23, her sister Elena Nurgalieva came second 1.16.24 and Turkish athlete Nursel Yildiz came third in 1.20.17. In men's category Turkish athletes won the first three places. Ali Haydar Tekgoz finished first in 1.11.48, Uzeyir Soylemez came second in 1.12.12 and Mustafa Kucuk came third in 1.16.30. In the 10-kilometer run in which 655 athletes took part, Turkish athletes were the medallists in men's category. Levent Ates finished first in 33.09, Arif Delen came second in 33.21 and Samet Turker came third in 34.00. In women's category, Turkish athlete finished the race in 36.04. Both Australian athlete Siesand Burg and German athlete Annika Grabenkamp finished in 43.29, becoming the first runners-up. From Anadolu
