1000 students to participate in SOP events

The six edition of  the Schools Olympic Program (SOP) under the theme “Sport and Investment” will feature several sports events in the third week on Tuesday. Around 1000 students (boys and girls) are expected to participate in the volleyball, basketball and football competitions on Tuesday. According to the SOP program, the volleyball competitions for boys’ preparatory schools will be held at the indoor hall of Al-Ahli Sports Club. In another scene, the basketball competitions for girls’ primary schools (first and second levels) will  continue at the Al-Gharafa SC indoor hall. Likewise, the football competitions for boys’ preparatory schools will be held at the QFA technical playgrounds, Al-Sadd SC and Al-Gharafa SC sub-playgrounds. The SOP competitions will be suspended from Thursday to the first week of November on occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
