Qatar retain Under-17 Asian Handball title

Qatar’s team celebrating after retaining the Asian Under-17 title by defeating Japan 28-24 in an exciting final at the Bahrain Handball Association Arena in Umm Al Hassam yesterday. Qatar remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. At half-time Qatar led 14-13. Both Qatar and Japan qualified for the 2013 IHF World Youth Championship in Hungary.
