Prince Feisal, president of the Jordan Olympic Committee, on Tuesday greeted the Nashama El Olympiad at Queen Alia International Airport upon their return from the London 2012 Olympic Games, according to a statement from the Jordan Olympic Committee. “I hope that you have all gained a lot from your experience and that you will use it to inspire the next generation of sportsmen and women,” Prince Feisal was quoted as saying in the statement. “The Olympic Games are not just about winning medals, they are a celebration of humanity, and your conduct and attitude over the past weeks will leave a lasting positive impression on London and the Olympic sporting family.” Jordan sent its strongest ever delegation to an Olympics — five men and four women — in swimming, athletics, equestrian, boxing and taekwondo.
