The international martial arts academy won the Second Independence Wushu Kung Fu Championship that kicked off here on Saturday and concluded later yesterday.
The Olympic Committee Sports Club came second in the contests, held at the hall of the Kuwait Wushu Kung Fu Federation at Sabah Al-Salem suburb. The Art of Fight Club ranked third.
Chairman of Kuwait Wushu Kung Fu Committee Nasser Al-Loughani, in remarks to KUNA, praised the champions' performance, adding that the tournament "revealed new talents particularly among the youngsters." Up to eight public and private sporting clubs participated in the championship.
